Appointment times:

All standard consultations by appointments are 10 minutes. Longer consultations are available on request, but will incur an extra fee. If your medical condition is urgent, please let the receptionist know when you phone or when you present to the reception desk.


Patients without appointments will be seen whenever the next appointment opens up, unless their condition is urgent. Please let us know in advance if you are unable to keep an appointment. A cancellation fee may be charged if you fail to cancel an appointment prior to the booked appointment.



The Walkerston GP Superclinic provides mixed billing services with some private fees and reduced fees or bulk billing for disadvantaged patients and certain services like vaccinations for children.  Please discuss your situation with the staff.  If fees are charged then payment of fees is at the time of consultation.  Please note that extra fees may apply for additional services.


The Medicare rebate for your consultation can be claimed electronically at our reception, allowing funds to be returned directly to your EFTPOS bank account on the day of your consultation.


All repeat prescriptions, new or continuing referrals will require an appointment with your regular general practitioner.


Test results:

Patients are required to book a follow up appointment to discuss their test results with their own doctor.  This follow up appointment for the results only will be bulk billed. 


PLEASE NOTE: Reception & Nursing Staff are not permitted to give results over the phone.


After Hours:

Our practice provides after hours services.


For appointments before 10pm please call 0439 292 155


For appointments after 10pm please call the doctor direct 0401 110 450


All services completed by 11pm will be bulk billed.  Consultations after 11pm will incur a fee of $250 with a $150 Medicare rebate.
